As an embedded software programmer, I used to set up new projects either in C or C++, mainly depending on which operating system is used on the target device. From UART to CAN or LIN, I have already worked with several peripheral interfaces. Over the years I started working with python. With this easy to use programming language, you can quickly build up some small test programs or other tools which fits you daily needs. But also when your are dealing with big data analysis, there is hardly anything better on the market. My first experiences with Simulink during my time in the automotive industry. A clear must when it comes to model-based function development. From the dew point calculation through to the PID controller many functions can be realized wuth it. Apart from the pure application of programming languages, planning is always an important important point when it comes to sophisticated software. Here I rely on Plant UML, Jira and the traditional project planning tools.I have already worked according to both the V-model and SCRUM.
